NIT Nagaland operates from its massive 291-acre permanent campus in Chumukedima, about 14 km from the commercial hub of Dimapur.

NIT Nagaland has a strict policy: Branch Change is NOT allowed.

  • What this means: The branch you secure in the JoSAA/CSAB counseling is final. You cannot switch from Electronics & Instrumentation to CSE after the first year, regardless of your CGPA.
  • Advice: Do not choose a branch here expecting an upgrade later.

If you are getting Core branches (Civil/Mech), compare it with private colleges in your home state before freezing.”
