  • Rule: Unlike MNIT Jaipur, MANIT Bhopal does allow branch sliding after the first year based on academic merit (CGPA).
  • Caution: Competition is fierce. Do not join a branch like Metallurgy solely relying on an upgrade to CSE; it requires a very high CGPA (usually 9.0+).
